The University of Westminster accepts English Password Test for international applicants as part of our English language admission requirements for undergraduate and postgraduate study. This means, if you are eligible, you have the option to take the English Password Test, the IELTS test or any other acceptable English qualification. Please note some courses may require higher grades in individual components, for example in writing. This is normally shown on individual course pages.
Due to the unfolding situation with regards Coronavirus (COVID-19), the University has currently moved all teaching online and closed all campuses. As a result we will not be running any PASSWORD tests in London for the foreseeable future.
We will monitor the situation closely to see whether it is possible to run any tests either on campus, or overseas via our agents and partners during the summer, and are currently also reviewing the use of PASSWORD Solo (Online test).
About the test
The English Password Test is only available to students who have been made a conditional offer to study at the University of Westminster.
Please note that the Password Skills Test is not transferable and cannot be used for admission to another university.
The Password Skills Test samples of four language components, Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking, can be viewed online.
