EU Tempus Funded Project

Dr Paresh Kathrani is the project manager for the EU Tempus Funded Project, ‘Approche basée sur les droits dans l’enseignement supérieur au Maghreb’; ‘Rights-based approach to higher education in the Maghreb’ at Westminster Law School.

Dr Paresh Kathrani and Margherita Blandini are pleased to announce that, with other partners, they have just completed the first phase of the three year, EU Tempus funded, 'Rights-based approach to higher education in the Maghreb' project. For the first phase, they collected data on the UK higher education system and human rights and prepared and submitted a 25 page national report. The second phase of the project is about to be launched, which will involve developing human rights training programmes for universities in Algeria, Morocco and Tunisia.
