We are currently witnessing a 'populist moment', with the emergence of anti-establishment movements in many European countries. Some of them can be qualified as 'right-wing populist', others as 'left-wing populist'.
What are the reasons for the growing success of these movements and how should we understand the differences between them? Is left-wing populism the best way to fight against right-wing populism?
