An academic–led trip is a short-term visit to another country, arranged by your college as part of an assessed module or project.
These trips are only available to students registered on the particular modules or projects.
The organiser of the visit will decide the details and eligibility requirements for each trip.

The Rwanda project is a unique collaboration between the University of Westminster and the University of Rwanda, one of Africa’s top universities, with the support of Quintin Hogg Trust funds.
As a result, 20 Westminster undergraduates now have the opportunity to take part in a transformative nine-month programme during the 2017–18 academic year.

Modern Languages and Cultures – Egypt
The trip is being organised as a joint collaboration between the University of Westminster Department of Modern Languages and Cultures and IHCairo – an independent language school of many years’ experience in teaching Arabic as a foreign language, and in receiving and housing students from abroad.

Modern Languages and Cultures – Marseille
In four days, this trip will explore Marseille and its surroundings. The group will visit the new Museum of European and Mediterranean Civilisations in Marseille, explore the colonial archives in Aix and see the south’s best beaches to think about the connection between France and the other side of the Mediterranean.

Visit China – Experience Beijing
Media, Arts and Design students now have the opportunity to visit China and spend two weeks discovering life in Beijing.
Working with the Beijing Foreign Studies University (BFSU) this programme offers WSMAD students a two-week experience of Beijing, university life and the history and culture of China’s capital.
