Changes to undergraduate courses from September 2016
In response to student feedback, we have reviewed all of our undergraduate courses and will be introducing a number of important changes to them from autumn 2016.
If you will be joining us in September 2015, these changes will affect you from your second year of studies.
The key changes from autumn 2016 will be:
- You will take 6 modules each year, rather than 8 modules. This will allow you to study subjects in more depth.
- All modules will be worth 20 credits, rather than the current mix of 15 and 30 credits.
- The amount of assessment will be reduced, giving you more time to focus on learning.
- There will be a wider range of opportunities for you, giving you broader experience, knowledge and competencies. These will include professional experiences, such as internships, summer schools abroad, field trips, entrepreneurial and voluntary activities.
If you would like to hear more about why we are making these changes, watch our video message below.
