Future Planners Bursary
The Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) and the University of Westminster are jointly offering a bursary of £1000 to a student on either the Urban and Regional Planning MA or International Planning and Sustainable Development MA in this coming academic year 2016/17.
To be eligible to apply, you must fulfil the following criteria:
You must be a UK or EU citizen – or have proof of eligibility to work in the UK or Ireland after graduation
You must have a First or Upper 2nd class degree at undergraduate level in any discipline
You must demonstrate an interest in planning as a career (which will be judged by your application statement)
You must have an offer of a place on the Urban and Regional Planning MA or the International Planning and Sustainable Development MA
How to apply
Applications for bursaries will be assessed on the basis of a statement of not more than 500 words confirming that the applicant meets the above criteria, highlighting their interest in planning, setting out what they hope to do on completion of the course and explaining why he or she needs this financial support.
Applications should be submitted to our departmental secretary, Noelia Moreno, by email at [email protected].
Applications must be submitted no later than Friday, 26 August 2016.
A decision about the award of the bursary will be made in early September. The bursary will be paid in cash following completion of enrolment and payment of University fees.
