RICS APC: Property Investment Valuations

This evening class prepares you for the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors' (RICS) assessment of professional competence (APC), focusing on property investment valuations.

This class addresses investment valuations and helps you understand the different types of valuation and correct use of yields. We will explore the capitalisation of income under varying investment profiles and understanding of gross and net yields, and the impact of a range of factors on yields and DCF calculations. We will cover important matters that often arise at the APC.

Who is this course for?

This course is suitable for you if you are undertaking the RICS APC final assessment on commercial property, planning and development, residential, and valuation pathways.

The course is also for you if you already have a working understanding in the subject area but would like to undertake formal continuing professional development, refreshing or enhancing your skills.

Course content

The course will provide you with a technical, professional and practical outlook on the subject matter.
