PRINCE2® Project Management FAQs

Yes, the University of Westminster is a Peoplecert Accredited Training Organisation (ATO), for PRINCE2®.

We will send you the pre-course reading material once you have booked the course. Pre-course work is expected to take approximately 15 hours. We also provide access to our online learning environment Blackboard, prior to the start of the course.

The official course manual “Managing Successful Projects with PRINCE2® (2017) is posted to you once you have registered and paid for the course.

The courses are delivered face-to-face in a classroom using a mixture of lectures and tutorials.

The campus is wheelchair accessible. Should you require any specific assistance on the training days, please do let us know in advance and preferably on application.

Candidates are given a scenario, which will allow them to apply the method during the training sessions using group exercises.

Unless indicated otherwise, all our courses are held at our Marylebone campus (35 Marylebone Road, London NW1 5LS).

The Foundation course runs for three days from 9:30am to 5pm. The Foundation exam is held on the third day and starts at 3pm.

The Practitioner course runs for two days from 9:30am to 5pm. The Practitioner exam is held on the second day and starts at 2pm.

If you are enrolled on both the Foundation and Practitioner courses, the exam for the Foundation course is on day three at 3pm and the exam for the Practitioner is on day five at 2pm.    

The maximum number of delegates that we can accept on either the Foundation or Practitioner course is 22. 

The course price includes all training, materials, the official manual (Managing Successful Projects with PRINCE2® (2017)) and exam(s). In addition, no VAT is payable on our short courses. Please note that re-sits are not included in the course fee.

Unfortunately not. Our PRINCE2® courses are extremely popular and we operate a first come first served policy. So to ensure you don’t miss out we would recommend booking as soon as possible.

In the unlikely event that the course you have registered for is cancelled, you will be offered a place on a different date or a full refund. 

All our trainers are experienced lecturers and experts in the area of project management. They are all Peoplecert-accredited trainers.

The courses run throughout the year, usually with at least one course per month. Courses run either on weekdays, or Saturdays based on the published schedule.

The exam board Peoplecert will email you your results within two weeks of the exam.

E-certificates are issued by PeopleCert on successful completion of exams and are available via the PeopleCert candidate portal. Access to this portal will be provided approximately one week prior to the exam date.

Hard copies of certificates are available for order from PeopleCert via your candidate portal.
