Centre for Resilience
What is Resilience?
At the heart of resilience is the idea that people and whole systems can respond creatively to challenges.
We live in a time of rapid and unpredictable change. The ability to navigate this change successfully – as individuals, organisations and whole societies – depends on our resilience. If you are resilient, you have the knowledge, skills and attitudes that help you maintain mental and physical wellbeing while juggling the demands of work and daily life.
But resilience is more than simply managing stress and surviving with dignity. It is associated with positive human qualities – communication, empathy, creativity and cooperation.
At the Westminster Centre for Resilience we help you develop a practical understanding of resilience, human flourishing and organisational wellbeing.
