Most of our facilities are available at weekends, in the evenings and all day during the Easter and summer vacations (except bank holidays) and during part of the Christmas break. A small number of conference and meeting rooms, including the Boardroom at our Regent Street site, are available year round.

Our London campuses are open 8am–9pm Monday to Friday, and 8am–5pm Saturday and Sunday. Additional security costs will be charged outside of these hours. Access can be gained one hour before the event on the day of booking at no extra charge or at the discretion of the University of Westminster.

If access is required the day before, a 50% charge on the total cost of the room(s) hired will apply.

Our facilities at Chiswick are open 8am–10pm on weekdays, and 8.30am–8pm on weekends.

We require a 30% deposit and full payment one month prior to the start of the booking. Your contract will state the specific payment terms and dates relevant to your booking.

Chiswick

You will be invoiced following receipt of the signed confirmation. Full, non-cash payment is requested prior to usage.

Payments can be made by cheque payable to the University of Westminster, by bank transfer or debit/credit card. For further details, please contact us.

VAT does not apply to room hire, however, the provision of other services such as catering, audio-visual aids and computers does incur VAT at current rate.

The University of Westminster is committed to equality of opportunity for those with disabilities. All of our buildings are fully DDA-compliant with the exception the Boardroom, where a wall-mounted stair lift is provided. Our Chiswick facilities have ramps to the Pavilion and a lift to the function rooms.

However, please advise us of any specific needs prior to your event. We are currently spending millions of pounds on improvements that work towards meeting government standards on accessibility.

Please advise the conference team at the time of booking of any disability that might affect your time here with us, so that we can support your visit.

Unfortunately, there are no parking facilities at any of our central London sites, with the exception of Marylebone and Cavendish where there is very limited parking for disabled vehicles only.

There is parking at our Harrow site on a Pay & Display basis only. There are NCP car parks situated nearby to each site.

In Chiswick, we have a car parks located by the entrance and around the back of the Pavilion.

You can order your audio-visual equipment at any time although final requirements must be requested at least three working days prior to your event. Audio-visual equipment in support of events is available for hire. Please refer to the audio-visual equipment hire charges. In classrooms, whiteboards are present and free of charge.

Each of our sites has its own dedicated catering team.

You can view and download menus online or you can request a brochure from our sales team.

You may arrange the delivery of materials to any of our sites no sooner than two days before your event. You must contact us in advance to advise us of this, failure to do so may mean your delivery is refused. Each package must be fully labelled with your event name, date and location and also your contact at the University of Westminster. All items are left at your own risk.

You may store items with us within reason and depending on whether we have the space. All items are left at your own risk. Please let us know in advance of your event if you require this service.

Our Chiswick facilities do not offer secure storing, so items can only be left at the owner's risk.

We can provide basic directional signage for you. Please ensure that you let us know the title of your event. You may produce your own A3 or A4 signage, however, all signage brought on site must be fire retardant/laminated. Organisers are advised to speak with us before commissioning any additional directional signage, such as banners, for the outside of buildings.

The University of Westminster does not have a public entertainment license therefore no tickets can be sold on the door but can be sold in advance of the event.

Items such as books, which are relevant to the event, can be sold on the day but the sale must be restricted to your room of hire and not in any public areas of the building.

Please advise us as soon as possible if you have a VIP or high-profile speaker attending. We can make arrangements for extra security if required and allow for ease of entry/exit on the day.
