VO2 max test
Duration: 30-45 minutes
The determination of maximal oxygen uptake or VO2max is the gold standard measure of aerobic capacity. Indeed, having a high VO2max is a prerequisite for successful athletic performance in endurance events. A VO2max assessment will allow athletes to accurately gauge their aerobic (fitness) levels, monitor the effectiveness of training and should be part of any good fitness assessment.

This test can be carried out on a treadmill or a bicycle. We use the SRM ergonometer. You can bring your own cleat pedals if you wish to carry out the test on our SRM bicycle. This test will require you to exercise till your maximum. We also carry out sub-maximal VO2 assessment of aerobic capacity.
