Programme Specifications for current students
The programme specification provides a summary of what students can expect to learn during their course and what they should have achieved by the end of it. It will include information on course outcomes, learning, teaching and assessment methods, employability and transferable skills and the overall course structure. Full information about the course is provided in the Course Handbook.
Programme specifications are developed and updated as part of the formal course approval processes known as Validation or Review and are then regularly updated by the course team. The programme specifications are useful for alumni in providing summary of their course when making applications for jobs or further study. The programme specification can also be used by Professional and Statutory Bodies, employers and industry as a useful guide to content and outcomes of a course.
