Each year the University of Westminster confers Honorary Degrees and Honorary Fellowships at its annual Presentation Ceremonies. Nominations are invited from across the University and recipients are approved by the Court of Governors.
The University will confer honorary degrees upon persons who have achieved distinction in public or professional life. Recipients of honorary degrees from the University of Westminster will receive either a Doctor of Letters or Doctor of Science.
The University will confer honorary fellowships upon persons who have either provided distinguished service to education and/or the University in a voluntary capacity; or provided distinguished service beyond the normal requirements of a member of the University.
