Lara Rettondini is Senior Lecturer and Course Leader for the MA Interior Design programme in the School of Architecture and Cities. She joined the University of Westminster in 2014 after holding teaching and leadership roles at the University for the Creative Arts (UCA), Central Saint Martins (UAL), and Kingston University. Lara is an architect and co-director of London based practice Studio X Design Group. She is Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and was recipient of the Westminster Teaching Excellence Award 2017. Her qualifications include a Laurea in Architettura from the Istituto Universitario di Architettura di Venezia (IUAV); a Master of Architecture and Urban Studies from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC); and a Master in Fine Art from Goldsmiths. Lara is presently External Examiner at the University of Hertfordshire and undertaking a PhD in the Centre for Research in Modern European Philosophy (CRMEP) at Kingston University.
