About me

I am in the fourth year of my research work. I have a first degree in law and a master of laws in dispute resolution.

My research is on tribal conflicts and State intervention. My case study is two Nigerian sub-tribes wrapped up in over a century long conflicts. I have chosen the case study method: archival data, oral interview and document analysis to answer the two main research questions.

Main interest whether granting increase internal selfdetermination to tribes will improve their chances of resolving their conflicts themselves with government intervention.

Starting point is Roberts' framework of dispute resolution in his famous "order and dispute" 1979.
