Rebecca is a qualified Town Planner with 15 years’ experience working in local authorities. Rebecca’s specialist subjects are development management and planning enforcement, and she has served as expert witness for London boroughs in several high-profile public inquiries and court cases. She holds an LLB (Hons) degree in law from the University of East Anglia (2004) and a Masters degree in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Westminster (2010). She is a fellow of the Higher Education Academy and secretariat of the Highbury Group on Housing Delivery (https://www.westminster.ac.uk/research/groups-and-centres/highbury-group-on-housing-delivery).
Rebecca teaches law and planning on the BSc Real Estate and Property and Planning courses and on the postgraduate MSc in Real Estate. She also contributes to several modules in the School of Architecture and Cities and runs the Introduction to Planning short course.
