Rebecca joined the university in 2016 after twelve years working in local government. Rebecca’s specialist subject is planning enforcement and development management, and she has served as expert witness for London boroughs in several high-profile public inquiries and court cases. She holds an LLB (Hons) degree in law from the University of East Anglia (2004) and a Master’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Westminster (2010).
Rebecca teaches planning law and practice on the MA Urban and Regional Planning course and contributes to the BSc Property and Planning and BSc Real Estate courses. She also runs the Introduction to Planning short course.
