Jeff is a doctoral researcher in transport at the University of Westminster. His research interests involve passenger rail transport, social license to operate, social media, and transport fares. Jeff is a graduate of Loyola University Chicago, earning a Masters of Education in Higher Education in 2009. Jeff also completed a Masters of Science in Transport Planning and Management at the University of Westminster in 2017.
Jeff’s professional career spans 15 years of experience. Jeff’s professional career involved work in higher education administration, working for both research universities, and an arts and media college. He previously in communications for the Chicago Transit Authority (CTA). In his position at the CTA, he worked on numerous projects and supervised co-promotional agreements between the CTA and local organisations and governments.
Jeff's current research focuses on passenger train operating companies in the United Kingdom and their use of Twitter as a means to earn trust and gain legitimacy for their operations.
