Clive Helm is a Senior Lecturer in Marketing and Business Strategy and leads the Product, Brand and Pricing Management module on the MA Marketing Management programme. 

Following a career in advertising, Clive taught at several business schools in the UK and Europe, including Westminster, particularly in the area of strategic marketing and brand management, and also undertook consultancy before joining Westminster Business School as a full time member of academic staff in 2005. He holds a MA in Marketing, Diplomas from the Chartered Institute of Marketing and the Institute of Export, and is a member of the Academy of Marketing and the Higher Education Academy. 

Clive writes and gives seminars regularly on strategic issues in branding as well as undertaking consultancy projects and research. His main areas of expertise are in the use of strategic marketing planning and brand-led management to achieve organisational goals.

Teaching

Clive teaches on several modules including Product and Brand Management on the MA Marketing Management course and the undergraduate Brands and Branding module. He has also held visiting academic roles and taught at several business schools in the UK and Europe, including Copenhagen Business School; ISC, Paris; and ESCEM, Poitiers, France.

Research

Clive's research and consultancy interests focus mainly on issues in the areas of achieving high performance in brand-led organisations and also 'brand governance' - the strategic management of corporate reputation and brand equity as sources of organisational value and competitive advantage in the context of an increasingly experienced-based economy.
