I am the Director of Undergraduate Studies in the Faculty of Architecture and the Built Environment. I worked both as a housing development manager and a project supervisor for 15 years before joining the University in 1990. I am a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Housing and I teach on the MA in Housing. My particular research interests are housing development and mixed income developments.

External Activities:

I am a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Housing and a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.

I teach Housing Policy and Strategy at postgraduate level. I am also a dissertation tutor for students on the MA Urban and Regional Planning and the MA Housing.
