About me

Manto joined Westminster Business School as a Reader in 2016. She is the Research Leader of Marketing and Business Strategy. Manto was previously a Senior Lecturer at Cardiff Business School (2010-2016), and a Lecturer at Brunel Business School (2005-2010) and at the University of Aberdeen Business School (2002-2005). She received her PhD in Marketing and her BA (Hons) in Marketing from the University of Strathclyde.


Manto is the module leader for BMAM704 Marketing for Managers.


Manto studies individual, team and organizational tensions and paradoxes in innovation management and branding. She enjoys working on collaborative research projects with colleagues around the world (from the US and the UK, to Australia, Greece, Slovenia and Sweden). Her publications have appeared in leading management and marketing journals, such as the Journal of Product Innovation Management, Human Relations, European Journal of Marketing, International Marketing Review, Technological Forecasting and Social Change, European Journal of Information Systems, International Small Business Journal, among others. Her chapter on Methods of Paradox is published in The Oxford Handbook of Paradox. She is a regular presenter in international conferences including the Academy of Management (US), Strategic Management Society and EGOS. Her research has been supported by research grants funded by the Carnegie Trust.
