I Joined the of Property and Construction in 2010 to lecture on the commercial aspects of construction. I am Chartered Quantity Surveyor with 20 years industry experience working on the client side (Thames Water), Professional Practice (John Shreeves and Partners) Construction Consultancy (Mace, IPM Ltd) and Contractors (EPS Projects, Apex Construction). My project experience includes working with BAA on Terminal 5; Boots New Head Office; social housing repair frameworks including Portsmouth City Council and running Insurance Repair Networks for Norwich Union and other insurers. I also have the fantastic experience of built my own reasonably environmentally sustainable home (solar panels, grey water, highly insulated) on time and on budget.

I'm focused on educating future generations of students for a sustainable society and ensures construction delivers what the client requires and enables the supply side to make a reasonable return. Currently teach Level 5 Commercial Management in Construction, Digital Practice Level 6 Digital Environment, Project Management and Procurement, Professional Practice. Level 7 Commercial management and Building Information Management

Research interests: Integrated project delivery. Building Information Modeling (BIM), Construction improvement
