About me

Eduarda Fontes is a Doctoral Researcher at the Politics and International Relations Department, University Of Westminster. She holds an MA in International Relations from the University of Westminster (UK), an MA in Corporate Law from the Universidad de Alcala de Henares (Spain), and a BA in Law from the Universidade Federal de Ouro Preto (Brazil). 

Eduarda is fluent in Portuguese, English and Spanish. She has intermediary knowledge of French and basic Italian.

Her research interests are in Gender and Racial aspects of Nation Building, the Politics of Education, Politics of Identity, Latin America Politics, with a focus on Brazil as well as Postcolonial International Relations.


Eduarda's current research title is: Role of Gender and Race in Shaping Brazilian Identity: the Case of Education.
