About me

I have worked within the Construction, Power, Oil and Gas, and Renewable Industries for over 20 years prior to my career at the University of Westminster.

My career in industry led me to undertake Senior Project Management and Executive roles within regional, national and global organisations, with direct operational control of projects with portfolio values of up to £300 million. 

I am a Member of the Chartered Institute of Building and a Chartered Construction Manager.


In addition to my role as Assistant Head of School, I lead and teach within the School of Applied Management on a number of Undergraduate and Postgraduate modules.  These include Construction Project Delivery, Project Planning, and Construction Technology & Innovation.

My subject specialisms include Project Management, Project Delivery, and the application of Innovative Construction Technologies.

I am a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.  


I am a Doctoral researcher at the University of Reading, applying socio-technical theories with regards to the development of new off-site volume housebuilding technologies.
