About me

I am a Research Fellow at the Department of Economics and Quantitative Methods, University of Westminster, working within the Centre for Employment Research.

Before joining University of Westminster, I was a PhD student in Economic Statistics at Sapienza University of Rome. I earned my PhD under supervision of Professor Guido Pellegrini in April 2014, with a thesis on the impact of regional policies. I received my Bachelor and Master degrees in Statistics in 2007 and 2010 respectively, in the Faculty of Statistical Science at Sapienza University of Rome.

Research

I enjoy doing research concerning different subjects within economics. During my PhD I mostly focused on the evaluation of the impact of regional policies, while I am currently working on the evaluation of active labour market policies and the returns from vocational education.

In the recent past I have also worked on academic studies concerning sports economics and educational economics.
