About me

My interests are in gender/sexuality, anthropology, queer theory, organization studies, and politics. I have BA in Anthropology and Politics from the the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), and currently doing a PhD at the University of Westminster. I am also part of the Gender and Sexuality Study Group at the Center for the Study of Democracy.

My PhD research uses an ethnographic methodology to trace how the discourses and practices of LGBT-friendly diversity are experienced in multiple organizational fields. The aim is to offer an ethnographic perspective on diversity politics in organizations, to 'queer' the relationship between business and activism, and to think of alternative ways of organizing beyond LGBT-friendliness.
