Research on academic literacies and pedagogy for language learning at the University of Westminster.
Academics at the WPLC contribute to a number of areas in research and scholarship, including: academic literacies, assessment for language skills, fluency in foreign languages, foreign languages and employability, inclusive learning, language tests for specific purposes, for language learning, new pedagogies and materials for language learning, and strategies for learning foreign languages.
The Westminster Professional Language Centre will soon launch a Master’s degree by blended learning designed for practising teachers who want to develop their expertise in the area of research-informed teaching English for academic purposes in the context of higher education.
