Professor Andrew Linn

The Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities is based on Regent Street in the heart of London’s West End and offers a dynamic and vibrant learning environment to inspire and excite the next generation of global citizens.

From Law to Languages, Politics to History, English to Visual Culture, Sociology to Translation, we can boast a diverse yet coherent range of academic activity.

We are distinctive in combining academic rigour with practical application, and we take pride in our 180-year history of offering ‘education for all’. Our staff are internationally known for their research and for sharing their expertise and their passion with our students and other partners so as to meet the challenges of our times and to make the world we live in a better place.

We provide numerous opportunities for students to study abroad, to learn foreign languages and to combine academic studies with work experience through placements and internships. We are committed to life-long learning and offer a range of courses to allow those with a passion for knowledge to learn and to develop new skills, whatever their stage in life.
