Barrister, investment banker, board advisor, entrepreneur, broadcaster, writer, mentor, public speaker and brand ambassador... few people have a career as multifaceted or successful as Miranda, who graduated from Westminster Business School's MBA in 2001.
Miranda has built a career in investment banking working for Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan Chase and Deutsche Bank, while successfully studying for her MBA. She has also completed her Law degree, was called to the Bar at Lincoln's Inn, and studied Journalism at The London School of Journalism and Political Philosophy at Cambridge University. Outside finance, Miranda has specialised in civil litigation representing clients in cases before various UK courts.
She has also provided advice to clients of pro bono centres across London on various domestic legal matters, in partnership with Clifford Chance and Citigroup. She serves on several diversity boards and committees within the City of London and became a 2012 UK Global Poverty Ambassador in association with the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. Miranda has also founded her own legal consultancy company. She is currently a Director at Daiwa, a Japanese investment bank, where her primary role is to manage the company's legal risk across Europe for the derivatives, regulatory and securities financing business.
