Consumer Insights Professional, Energizer

Martin Bryant is a consumer insights professional with eight years' experience in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector.

Acting as an internal consultant to his marketing colleagues, Martin's passion is keeping his organisation at the forefront of the latest in market research thinking, and placing the consumer at the heart of everything his department does. Martin completed his part-time Executive MBA with distinction at Westminster Business School in January 2012.

Prior to that he graduated with First Class Honours from Durham University's School of Modern Languages, and was recognised by the German Department for topping his year in his German finals papers.

Martin has worked in commercial research for the healthcare sector, but is now firmly focused on the everyday consumer. In his current role at Energizer, he has broadened the scope of econometric modelling within the business for better ROI measurement, and has introduced behavioural economics and neuroscience research techniques.

He is about to change sector, joining Yum! Brands in October, where his remit will be to lead the adoption of new research methodologies to help KFC UK and Ireland develop a deeper understanding of its consumers.
