Sign up for our Welcome Programme

Taking place before the start of the academic term, from 13 to 15 September 2010, it combines social events with practical advice sessions on a range of subjects such as travel, health, working in the UK. It is open to all international students (including EU) and free to attend but you need to book a place online.

Book your accommodation

If you would like to stay in one of the Westminster Halls of Residence you will need to book your place in advance. Alternatively the University's Student Housing Services offers help and advice with finding private accommodation.

After you get here

Students Union

The University of Westminster Students Union has internationally focused welfare and social groups reflecting a diverse range of interests and activities. We offer a range of groups for you to get involved in, such as:

Model United Nations (MUN)

Smoke Student Radio and Newspaper

Student Law Society

Sports facilities

We have extensive sport and recreation facilities, including a large sports ground in west London, a sports hall at Harrow and a fitness suite in central London.

Socialising

The University has several cafes, bars and a live music venue where you can meet fellow students to socialise.

International Students House (ISH)

International Students House offers sporting, internet and restaurant facilities alongside an extensive programme of events.

Explore London

Living in the heart of London you can easily explore the citys many museums and galleries, visit theatres and music venues browse famous open-air markets and relax in one of the parks or countless restaurants, bars and cafes.
