Westminster Exchange students
Online enrolment has now closed for Semester One. You will now be sent an enrolment form to check, sign and return to Westminster Exchange
New Year 1 and 2 Certificate in Education (CertEd) and Professional Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) Students.
How to pre-enrol
You will need your application number, which you can find on the covering letter from the University. You will then need to follow the instructions in each section, entering and/or updating any personal information such as addresses and emergency contact details.
Course title
You do not have the option of changing the Course (award and route). If this information is incorrect, please notify your college.
Payment of fees
Your fees must be paid directly to your college and not to the University. Therefore, when you are asked ‘How will you pay your fees?’ in the online enrolment screen, please select 'fees are paid to partner colleges' from the drop-down menu.
Print and return your completed online enrolment form to your college administrator with one passport-sized photograph by no later than Friday 30 September 2011 (make sure you print your name on the back of the photo). Alternatively, you can bring your completed form and photograph to the Orientation and Welcome session (see below).
ID cards
Only students who have returned their photograph and online enrolment form will be fully enrolled and issued with an ID card. The ID card will be sent to your home address unless you specify otherwise.
Orientation and Welcome Programme – Year 1 students
The University of Westminster Orientation and Welcome programme for Year 1 students will be on Tuesday 13 September 2011 at 9.30am in the University of Westminster’s Cavendish site (115 New Cavendish St, London W1W 6UW - the nearest underground stations are Great Portland Street and Warren Street).

In order to book your place on the University of Westminster CertEd/PGCE Year 1 Orientation and Welcome programme, you need to complete and submit the registration form.
When you click on 'submit', the form is sent to the University automatically.
Orientation and Welcome Programme – Year 2 students
The University of Westminster Orientation and Welcome programme for Year 2 students will be on Thursday 15 September 2011 at 9am in the University of Westminster’s Regent Street site (309 Regent Street, London W1B 2UW - nearest underground is Oxford Circus).

Funding
Please contact the Student Loans Company to enquire about means-tested grants for your tuition fees. Students can claim mainstream Student Support (from the part-time package, as you will be doing a part-time, in-service initial teacher training course), but please note that if you have a household income above £28,000, you will get little or no support.
However, for this year only, your college can apply for £400 funding from the Institute for Learning on your behalf to be paid against your fees.
You can also apply for a Career Development Loan or you can give a personal cheque instead, made payable to your college.
