Build your own enterprise journey
Start your Westminster Enterprise Journey and become an Enterprise Champion!
Upon completion, you'll receive an Enterprise Champion Award (certificate and badge) for participating in extracurricular enterprise activities during your studies. WeNetwork will also award at random 10 Enterprise Champions with a £50 money voucher as an additional prize.
The journey enables you to identify and access the precise opportunities and support available to help you explore entrepreneurship and expand your network, develop new skills, start a business, or go freelance. The great thing about it is that it's easy to manage - you can work through it at your own pace and complete the activities most interesting and relevant to you.
There is no sign-up deadline but you have until 1 May 2024 to complete it.

Wondering if the 9-5 desk life is for you? If it’s even a question, join Freelance Essentials. The programme is designed for students and graduates who want to learn everything about starting and running a successful freelance business. Participants also have the chance to apply for in-programme funding. From finding paid freelance work, managing your clients and getting paid, we’ve got you covered.

Westminster Big Idea Competition
The Westminster Big Idea Competition is the annual, University-wide student and graduate business idea and innovation competition, in partnership with Santander Universities UK. The competition encourages and supports applicants to develop their entrepreneurial skills and to build and grow their businesses. Finalists can get a share of a £43,000 funding pot.

A week-long series of workshops connecting your academic research deliverables (think projects, dissertations and other assessments!) with entrepreneurial thinking and primary research skills. By employing an entrepreneurial mindset, students are encouraged to take their projects to the next level and consider their real-world applications and commercial opportunities.

Elevate Business Support Programme
WeNetwork's programme for UK-based graduate and alumni entrepreneurs. This initiative provides custom support to foster business growth by enhancing revenue and process optimisation. As a signature feature, Elevate offers selected businesses up to £10,000 equity-free funding.

Pioneer Bursary
Access the Pioneer Bursary, which offers participants the opportunity to receive between £250 and £1000 in funding to help jumpstart their business idea. The Pioneer Bursary is an exclusive funding opportunity available to participants of our Start-Up 101 and Freelance Essentials programmes.
