Call for Proposals for Interdisciplinary Pedagogic Research Projects

24 November 2011

As in previous years, there will be funding for interdisciplinary projects. This year there are a number of notable changes arising from our experiences over the last couple of years.

  1. Projects must address an aspect of the L&T theme for 2011-2012 – Professional Learning in a Global Context.
  2. In the first instance, colleagues only need to submit a brief expression of interest to myself explaining in a very brief paragraph what they would like to do.
  3. Those submitting these by November 25th will be invited to an ‘awayday’ on the 2nd December 2011 where the WEx team will facilitate networking and solidifying the ideas put forward.
  4. The resulting teams will have 4 weeks to submit their full proposal.
  5. If funded, all teams will be expected to meet every six week with the WEx research team to discuss progress and issues. If teams are working effectively, these meetings will become voluntary.
