Our Department is home to a wide range of courses, at both undergraduate and postgraduate level and you can find further information be clicking on the links below.

We offer courses in History, Sociology and Criminology, but are strongly committed to research and teaching across disciplines.  Thus, some of our programmes are delivered in collaboration with the Departments of English, Linguistics and Cultural Studies and Politics and International Relations.

We benefit from our location in central London, with its unrivalled range of library and archive resources, as well as its social diversity.  We aim to make the most of our location, we also provide an international environment for learning, teaching and research.  This is reflected in the research interests of our staff, in the courses we offer and in our student body.

In addition to our regular degree courses, we also offer a London Liberal Arts programme as part of the Westminster Summer School.

We are also committed to professional development at all levels of study.  For example, we offer a Foundation Degree in Crime Investigation in conjunction with the Metropolitan Police Crime Academy.

All our undergraduates have the opportunity to undertake a work experience or internship module.

At postgraduate level, our Applied Social and Market Research Courses (MA / MSc / MRS Diploma preparation) carry Market Research Society recognition, and we are developing a range of short courses for continuing professional development.

We also offer the following postgraduate courses:
