The MRes (Masters of Research) course in International Environmental Policy and Politics is designed to equip you with the knowledge, skills and experience needed to analyse, evaluate and manage a wide range of issues of environmental policy and politics at senior level. It gives you a comprehensive grounding in cutting-edge research and develops the skills and tools needed for effective leadership in research design, policy analysis and expert decision-making.
Our MRes programme is designed for both professionals with at least three years' work experience, and recent graduates wishing to specialise in international environmental policy and politics and/or preparing for doctoral research. It can be taken full-time over 12 months, or part-time over 24 months (flexible enrolment, in October and January).

MRes Scholarships – September 2010 / January 2011 start
The following scholarship/fee waiver opportunities are available on a competitive basis for the academic year 2010-11 (enrollment in either September 2010 or January 2011) on the MRes International Environmental Policy and Politics:
- One full-time international, scholarship, including maintenance grant and fee-waiver, for one Overseas Student (non-UK/non-EU citizen) on full-time basis
- One part-time fee waiver, for one Home Student (UK/EU citizen) on part-time basis (two years’ of study, 2010/11 and 2011/12)
Please note: a separate application for the scholarship or fee waiver is required, which has to be submitted in addition to the standard application for a place on the MRes course. The application deadline for the scholarship is 30 June 2010.
