“Exploring styles to enhance learning and teaching in diverse contexts”
ELSIN 2010 is an international conference that provides a forum for researchers and practitioners to exchange ideas, knowledge, and concerns about styles and strategies of learning and thinking. One of ELSIN’s greatest strengths is its interdisciplinarity, attracting people from a wide range of disciplines and professional contexts.
The major theme of the conference is “Exploring styles to enhance learning and teaching in diverse contexts”. However, submissions on all aspects of style are welcome. Submissions can be empirical or theoretical/conceptual. ELSIN 2010 particularly welcomes posters, papers, round-tables and symposia that focus on key issues such as:
- Understanding the implications of style for teaching and learning
- Student learning styles and teaching strategies
- Putting style research into practice in the classroom
- Flexibility of style
- Developing methodologies for researching style in human performance
- Style test development and psychometrics
- Networking knowledge production and dissemination in style research

Call for papers
