Widening Participation Survey Group

The Widening Participation Survey Group has been funded by the Innovations fund to conduct a University-wide survey of first year undergraduate students. The survey has provided information about the diversity of our student group and aspects of their lives outside the university: including family circumstances and support networks. It includes questions from the U.K. National Student Survey and a number of standardized psychometric scales investigating student satisfaction, health and mental health, coping, social and academic integration. In-depth interviews with students about their experiences are also being conducted.
