Interest and expertise
The purpose of the Software Systems Engineering Research Group is to investigate, develop and apply sound engineering principles in the context of software systems development and research. The research activities of the group members cover fields such as distributed systems, software components, database research, and web search, but underlying and informing all these different strands of work is the application of sound software engineering principles and practice.
