David Ward
David is the director of the Centre for Media Policy and Development, a London-based non-profit centre and think tank providing both international media research and development work. He has been the Deputy Director General of the European Institute for the Media in Germany.
He has a wide range of interests in media policy and development and has provided advice and reports for numerous clients including a range of government and non-governmental organisations including the BBC, Commissariaat voor de Media, Netherlands Public Broadcasting, Friedrich Ebert Stiftung, European Commission, the Open Society Foundation and Council of Europe.
He is a Senior Research Fellow at the Communications and Media Research Institute, University of Westminster. He has published two books on communications policy and many articles in international journals.
