Taking a Study Abroad internship enhances your job prospects

Why not enhance your experience abroad by completing a credit-bearing work placement?

As part of the Study Abroad Programme at the University of Westminster, you have the option to undertake an academically assessed internship opportunity offering you an exciting chance to gain practical, hands on work experience in your fields of interest. The Internship Programme is made up of a practical work placement of approximately 16-20 hours per week, plus an academically assessed course.

The internship experience is designed to help you develop your professional skills, but it can also help develop confidence, communication skills and personal qualities. An internship can be highly rewarding and provides a unique opportunity to experience another aspect of a different culture.

Once you have been accepted on to the Study Abroad programme your internship will be organised by the Business Experience Team (BET).
