Accommodation for Study Abroad students

The accommodation options for Study Abroad full-year or single-semester students, undergraduate or postgraduate, are the same as for UK and EU students - you can apply for University Halls of Residence. Please note that the Education Abroad Team will process your University Halls of Residence application on your behalf. You do not need to apply via the University's online housing registration system.

For information on the options available and the cost of accommodation in the University Halls of Residence, visit our Student accommodation pages. Whichever hall you live in, you will have a chance to meet students from different disciplines, backgrounds and cultures, enhancing the whole Study Abroad experience.

Many international students choose to live in privately rented accommodation. The University provides free help and advice once you have arrived. Privately rented accommodation is plentiful in London, but the search for the right place will probably take you a few days.

The University Student Housing Services webpages can give you more detailed information on where to look, landlords, tenancy agreements and the various areas of London.

The University is also able to arrange a home stay with a family in London through a company whose services we have used for a number of years. Home stay offers you the opportunity to experience at first hand life in an English household. Should you be interested in this option, please contact the Study Abroad Unit at educationabroad@westminster.ac.uk for an application and up-to-date price list.
