27-07-2010
NUS has partnered with the environmental charity Global Action Plan to offer free exciting Eco-Teams training. The event takes place in University of London Union (ULU) on the 1st of September 2010.
An Eco-team is a group of friends who get together once a fortnight to reduce their environmental impacts.
What do Eco-teams do?
EcoTeam leaders are given resources and support so that they can set up and lead teams that are successful in taking positive action on:
- Rubbish and shopping
- Household Energy
- Water
- Travel
A truly inspiring day, you will pick up sustainability and leadership skills, as well as meet with like minded students from regional universities. You will get free refreshments and lunch and you can reclaim travel costs subject to Global Action Plan's expenses policy!
