Business

The 2008 Research Assessment Exercise (RAE) rated 70% of Westminster Business School (WBS) research to be of an internationally recognised (2*) standard, or higher, placing us among the top post-1992 university business schools in the UK.

We have a strengthening research culture in the school with wide-raging interests in several specialist areas within the general field of business and management. We are investing in three Research Centres that are developing portfolios of research recognised to be internationally excellent and, in some cases, world leading. This research attracts funding from leading grant awarding bodies such as ESRC, the Leverhulme Trust, and the Nuffield Foundation.

Our weekly research seminar draws both external and internal speakers. Research students also benefit from a doctoral colloquium where they present their work and receive feedback from senior researchers in addition to their own supervisory team.

In addition, WBS is a Centre of Excellence for the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development; our MBA is accredited by The Association of MBAs (AMBA); and we have strong links with the Chartered Institute of Marketing.
