DProf study
Professional Doctorate programmes allow professionals to undertake a programme of research contributing to the advancement of professional practice. They are part-time programmes which enable candidates to undertake a practice-based project in their area of professional practice. They typically comprise taught elements in preparation for the identification and execution of a major independent project of research and seek to develop and deepen the candidate’s professional practice and to make an original contribution to practice.
