Summer School

The University of Westminster Summer School in Regent Street offers courses in English Language and Cultural Studies from pre-intermediate to advanced, as well as a number of special courses. All courses offer:

  • classes every morning from 9.45 am – 1 pm
  • a maximum class size of 24 students
  • free one-hour lunchtime classes on various aspects of life in the UK
  • guided tours and visits every afternoon in and around central London*
  • weekend tours and visits to places of interest outside London**
  • use of University facilities such as libraries, computer rooms and our Halls of Residence

We give a placement test on the first day to determine your level of English on all courses.

* Afternoon tours and visits in central London are free; some sites of interest may make an entry charge, typically £10-25, and students are expected to use public transport at their own expense.

** Weekend tours and visits typically cost £40-60/day, including transport and entry charges; meals and refreshments are not included.
