Official Cambridge ESOL practice materials give you an idea of the contents of the Cambridge ESOL exam. Test yourself to see whether your English language skills are at the required level to study at an English speaking institution – before you commit to taking the official exam.
The Official Top Tips for FCE with interactive CD-ROM
This book contains some essential advice ('tips') for each part of each of the five FCE papers (reading, writing, use of English, listening and speaking). It is written by Cambridge ESOL examiners with many years’ experience of setting and marking the FCE exam.
The book includes:
- clear examples and explanations to show you exactly what each tip means
- general tips for each paper to help you revise
- sections on how to revise, what to do on the day of the exam, and computer-based FCE (CB FCE)
The CD-ROM includes:
- a real FCE exam for you to try (reading, writing, use of English and listening) so that you know what to expect when you take the exam
- scores, answers, sample answers (for the writing paper) and feedback at the end of the test, so that you can check your performance
- a video showing students taking the speaking test, to give you a clear idea of what you have to do when you take the test
