Politics and International Relations
The Department of Politics and International Relations is a centre of excellence for the study of Politics, International Relations and Development Studies. Hosting the internationally renowned Centre for the Study of Democracy, there is a longstanding tradition of innovative research and high quality research-led teaching. Being in the heart of London, we regularly invite leading intellectuals, policy-makers and officials for our well-established series of seminars, public lectures and conferences.
We offer teaching at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels in the areas of Politics, International Relations and Development Studies. Students can also combine their courses with modern languages and with history. We have a vibrant and large doctoral programme.
