Sports facilities
Our dynamic Sports and Recreation team is committed to enhancing the wellbeing of all our students, staff and the wider community.
We have excellent facilities available for use by the public. Fitness assessments, one-to-one personal training and prescriptive exercise programmes are just some of the services we offer, without the astronomical joining fees and attitude found at other city-central gyms.
Regent Street Gym
After its recent enhancements, our Regent Street Gym is now better than ever. With its multi-functional social space, new gym equipment, extensive class timetable and Sunday opening (for the truly committed) it’s the smart way to work out for less in the heart of the city.
Degree-qualified sport scientists are on hand to provide a full induction programme for new users and create tailor-made exercise programmes. Other services include fitness assessments, body composition analysis and personal training.

There’s also a small gym, equipped with a mix of cardio and resistance equipment.
We often hold community events including charity competitions and sports development schemes. Contact the team to find out ways you can get involved.
